Carie is versatile in incorporating newer techniques in floral design as well as traditional design. While she prefers garden style design, she also enjoys Ikebana and traditional European design. Her continued goal is to develop lasting customer relationships with those who value high quality florals with a personalized customer service approach.

Carie has worn many hats in design through the years. Having been a graphic designer, web designer, and professional photographer, her design skills adapt easily in many fields. 

Prior to her floral design experience, Carie was the Founder, Owner, Art Director, Graphic Designer and Photographer for Spear Design since its inception in the spring of Y2K, providing large corporations, small companies and non-profit organizations with marketing services. 

Some of her major former customers include: SUNY Cobleskill, The New York State Library, Skidmore College, Minolta Corporation, Saab, and Thomson Learning.​

In her spare time she enjoys garden design, photography, kayaking and traveling with her family. Carie is a member of the Bethlehem Garden Club and has served as First Vice President, Second Vice President, Co-chair(s) of Communications, Grants, and Holiday Decor. She lives with her husband, two daughters and two dogs in the Albany area.
